Mental health assessment is the starting point for psychotherapy, but it may also be a useful tool to provide your primary care physician or psychiatrist with the information needed to accurately treat challenges such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder (just to name a few).

We taylor all our educational evaluations specific to the situation. Our psychologist, Dr. Eric Pickering, is able to provide a full educational evaluation with a written report which meets the criteria for legal and educational standards. However, in some situations, the highest level of evaluation is, quite frankly, unnecessary. Dr Pickering is an expert in determining the best level of assessment necessary to meet your goals. He also knows the ins and outs of the education system and can help you determine the best course of action.

Sex addiction and struggles with pornography is a serious and growing challenge in your culture today. It is not the same as substance addiction. Successfully assessing and addressing this issue for adults requires a specialized knowledge base and skill set. We have a highly trained team whose approach is compassionate, non-judgmental and effective. We also have a specialist who is well-trained to assist the partner of someone struggling with either sexual addiction or pornography.
