Roy received his Bachelor of Arts in psychology and Master of Social Work from The Ohio State University. He began his counseling career as a psychotherapist in a family-serving community mental health clinic. Roy served a large evangelical congregation for many years as a counselor, supervisor and teacher. Roy is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S) with thirty years of counseling experience. He primarily operates from a systems-oriented perspective specializing in men’s issues, family struggles and marriage therapy. Roy also provides preparation for pre-marital couples through our Together For Life program. Roy also serves as Crossroads’ Assistant Director.
